GROW THE MO FOR MEN’S HEALTH

Why it Matters and Where Men are Finding Hope

Maybe you’ve heard of Movember, an international movement dedicated to men’s health awareness?

The urgency behind this movement often gets lost in the business of life. But November is a time to look beyond the mask and acknowledge the silent crisis affecting men.

The disparity in men’s health has become a public health issue. Here is what you need to know:

  • Men are dying by suicide at a rate approximately four times higher than women. They account for nearly 80% of all suicide deaths in the U.S.
  • Due to persistent stigma and pressure to be "self-reliant," men are significantly less likely to seek help than women.

This combination of intense cultural conflict and isolation is leaving millions of men in poor health and desperate.

The good news is that many are turning to Jesus!

Across the country, there is a growing revival, known as the "Quiet Revival".  A surge of men are finding community, purpose, and hope through Jesus. They are seeking a purpose that combats loneliness and community that replaces isolation. They are recognizing that Jesus is the Great Physician, Healer, and Savior. The ultimate source of enduring strength and meaning.

A Time to Rally in Brotherhood

The crisis is real, but so is hope. We believe healing happens through Jesus in community.

That's why we're hosting a gathering for men to connect and find encouragement:

Join us for a Men’s Rally, BBQ, and Broncos Watch Party!

  • Hear practical truth about stepping into a rhythm of faith, life, and camaraderie.

  • Eat some BBQ and build connections.

  • Watch the Broncos and high-five a brother in a joyous atmosphere.

This is an opportunity to break the cycle that’s been tearing men apart. It's time to stand in the gap, encourage one another, and recognize our fathers, husbands, brothers, and sons.

* Bring family, friends, and a man to stand in brotherhood.
